Testify Community Guidelines

Effective date: September 24, 2026

Testify is a place to share testimonies of what God is doing and to encounter the stories of others. These guidelines apply to testimonies, audio posts, comments, profiles, communities, and other content shared on Testify.

We welcome people at different stages of faith. You can express your beliefs and discuss disagreements, but you must treat other people with dignity.

Share honestly

Tell your story in your own words. Do not invent testimonies, impersonate someone else, or present another person’s experience as your own.

You may share how your faith helped you through an experience. Please avoid promising that someone else will receive the same outcome if they take the same steps or have enough faith.

Respect people, including when you disagree

Do not bully, threaten, intimidate, shame, or repeatedly target another person. Do not use slurs or attack people because of their religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, disability, or other personal characteristics.

Faith discussions and respectful disagreement are welcome. Harassment disguised as correction, prayer, or ministry is not.

Protect privacy

Share your own experiences without revealing someone else’s private information. Do not post another person’s address, phone number, private messages, medical details, or identifiable testimony without their permission. Take particular care when sharing stories involving children.

A testimony can be powerful without naming everyone involved.

Keep Testify safe

Do not post sexual exploitation or abuse material, graphic violence, credible threats, instructions for harming someone, or content that encourages self-harm. Do not use Testify to groom, exploit, or endanger a child.

If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Reporting a post on Testify does not replace getting urgent help.

Do not exploit people seeking support

Do not use a testimony or community to pressure people into sending money, disclosing sensitive information, joining an organization, or accepting private contact. Scams, deceptive fundraising, and misleading claims are prohibited.

Do not tell someone to stop prescribed treatment or present a testimony as a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice.

Post content you have the right to share

Only upload text, audio, images, or other material that you created or have permission to use. Do not copy someone else’s testimony without their consent. Do not post spam, repetitive promotions, or links intended to deceive users.

Care for the communities you create

Community creators may set additional rules that fit their community’s purpose, provided those rules are consistent with these guidelines. If you manage a church or other community, make its identity clear and do not imply that an organization endorses your community unless you are authorized to represent it.

Community leaders should address harmful behavior and use Testify’s reporting tools when needed. Testify may act on content in any community, including a privately managed one.

Reporting, blocking, and moderation

If you see content or behavior that may break these guidelines, use the Report option on the relevant content or account. You can also block a user whose interactions you do not want to see. For support, contact uche@testifyhub.co.

Testify may review reports and take action based on the context and severity of a violation. Actions may include removing content, limiting features, or suspending or terminating an account. Serious violations may result in immediate action. We may also take steps to address harmful content that has not been reported.
